Information for Patients

Medical Research Group of Central Florida, in association with major pharmaceutical companies and sponsors, is currently conducting trials on a variety of diseases and disorders. We are dedicated to collecting quality data about new drugs and to helping in the development of new experimental treatments. We also promise the highest quality medical care to the patients who participate in our studies.

Please take advantage of comprehensive evaluations, physical exams, laboratory tests, psychological assessments and medications at no cost to you. All patients are paid for their participation: you will be compensated for your time and your travel. No medical insurance is necessary.

We are currently conducting Clinical trials in the following areas:

  • Major Depressive Disorder

    Criteria:

    • Patients suffering from depression and who are looking for new treatment options
    • Male or Female, age 18-65
    • Currently taking no more than one antidepressant medication
  • Schizophrenia

    Criteria:

    • Patients suffering from schizophrenia (symptoms including hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, etc.) and who are looking for new treatment options
    • Male or Female, age 18-65
  • Statin-Related Myalgia

    Criteria:

    • Patients who suffer from muscle pains when they take cholesterol medications
    • Male or Female, age 40 and above
  • Opioid-Induced Constipation

    Criteria:

    • Patients who have constipation caused by their pain medications
    • Male or Female, age 18 and above
    • Currently taking opioid pain medications (for example: oral morphine)
    • Not taking opioid medications for cancer related pain
